A wall mount only saves space when it is installed in the right place. Before drilling the first hole, hold the appliance, attachments, and cable against the intended position. This helps you spot early whether doors, drawers, or fittings are in the way.
1. Choose a dry, easy-to-reach location
Choose a place that is convenient to reach and not exposed directly to splashing water. The appliance must not hang above a sink, bathtub, or shower. Also plan a short, clear route to the power outlet. The cable should not be stretched tight or run over a sharp edge.
2. Check the actual space required
The LuMoo Home holder's 3D model measures approximately 208 × 150 × 132 mm externally. You also need additional room to insert and remove the handle and attachments. Before drilling, hold the loaded holder against the wall and test any adjacent doors or drawers.
Check in particular:
- free space above and below the holder,
- clearance from cabinets, mirrors, and wall edges,
- a relaxed cable route without sharp bends,
- sufficient distance from heat and water.
3. Check the wall and concealed services
The wall surface determines which fasteners are suitable. Solid walls, tiles, plasterboard, and wood require different screws or wall plugs. Use the supplied screws only if they are suitable for the existing surface. Before drilling, use appropriate means to check whether electrical cables or water pipes run through the area.
If you are unsure about tiles, hollow walls, or concealed services, have the holder installed by a qualified professional.
4. Transfer the drill points accurately
- Hold the mount level at the intended position.
- Mark the drill points with a pencil.
- Check the position and clearances a second time.
- Drill with a tool suitable for the wall surface.
- Insert suitable wall plugs and tighten the mount evenly.
Tighten the screws only until the holder is secure. Excessive force can damage the component or the wall.
5. Check the fit and route the cable neatly
Do not fully load the holder immediately. First apply light pressure to check that it is secure and has no play. Then insert the completely cooled appliance and compatible attachments. Guide the cable loosely around the intended wrap and avoid tight bends or pulling on the plug or cable outlet.
6. Inspect it regularly
Check that the holder remains secure after the first few uses and then at regular intervals. Clean it with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaners, abrasives, or high heat.
Confirm compatibility before purchasing
The LuMoo Home holder is intended for the Airwrap design and use shown in the product images with compatible twist-lock attachments. Model generations or attachments not shown have not been verified separately. If your appliance differs significantly, send us a photo or the exact model name before purchasing.
